How can I help?

We need to establish lodging/meals for Yves along the way. Check out the detailed schedule to see if there are any dates that you would be willing to provide Yves with accommodation when he is in your area. If so, please contact us at info@odysseedesneiges.ca. We will acknowledge your generosity by listing your name on our Website under the "Special Thanks" section. Once we have confirmed Yves’ accommodation with you, the Odyssey coordinator will contact you 24 hours ahead of the estimated arrival time to confirm Yves’ plans. We appreciate your flexibility in the dates/times as the schedule may need to be altered depending upon weather conditions. Once you have met Yves, you will be glad that you offered to help as he is one of a kind!

If you would like to ride with Yves for a portion of this Guinness World Record ^tm expedition, please send us an email (info@odysseedesneiges.ca) specify your province/city and length of time you are willing to ride. Please keep in mind that Yves will need to maintain his pace and adhere to a strict schedule. (Morning departure time is usually 07:30 a.m.) If you are riding longer than a day and require overnight accommodation, please make your own arrangements in advance, as it would be too onerous a task for the Odyssey team to manage.

We welcome any suggestions for sponsorship. Yves will need to top his fuel up as well as the fuel for his GTX600. If you are associated with providers of Gas, Restaurants or Coffee, who would be willing to contribute, please contact us. (info@odysseedesneiges.ca) We will acknowledge sponsors by affixing the logo on Yves’ snowmobile as well as including them on the Odyssey website under Sponsors. If you have other suggestions for goods or services, please let us know….every little bit (or Timbit) helps!

Be a part of the Odyssey team by providing us with personal accounts of your experiences with Yves and/or photos of your interactions with this warm and welcoming guy. We will add your name to our website as one of our extended Odyssey team. Imagine helping a fellow Canadian achieve a new Guinness World Record^tm? HOW EXCITING! Get your cameras ready!

We encourage you to support Yves as he passes through your "neck of the woods". Get involved. Have the kids make banners or signs to wave as he rides through your town. When in doubt, wave a Canadian flag - we’re sure proud of this Canadian! Go YVES Go! Let us know if you have more than 20 Odyssey supporters and we will send you some stickers/flags to wear/wave as proud supporters! (Please allow ample notice for delivery)
